I've spent 20 years working in the finance, accounting and taxes of Chilean companies — as a certified public accountant, as an advisor and as an executive. Along the way I added an MBA and postgraduate diplomas in IFRS and data analytics. But what taught me the most was something else: watching, again and again, owners of good companies making decisions in the dark because nobody translated their numbers for them.
